We invite you to join us for MAKE SHIFT, a week-long group artist residency that promises to ignite creativity and celebrate the beauty of land-based installation art and performance. Set amidst the picturesque landscape of Coyote Tales, this immersive experience will transform the natural environment into a canvas for exploration and expression.
Engage Your Senses, Explore Your Creativity:
During MAKE SHIFT, 10-15 individual artists will come together to play, create, and explore. Through talks, group activities, and larger collective projects, artists will find inspiration to craft their own works of art, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of creativity that will unfold throughout the week.
Delve Deeper into Your Practice:
MAKE SHIFT offers artists the space and inspiration to delve deeper into their practice. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, participants will have the opportunity to connect with their surroundings and explore new artistic directions. Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, performer, or mixed-media artist, Coyote Tales provides the perfect backdrop for creative exploration.
Open Air Arts Invitation:
At the end of the residency, the results of the week’s artistic endeavors will be shared with the local community during an open-air arts invitation. Visitors are welcome to experience the installations, performances, and interactive art pieces created during MAKE SHIFT. Live music and local artists will add to the festive atmosphere, making this celebration of the arts an event not to be missed!
