Hours
We are open/around most weekdays and weekends. We live in the moment as much as possible and so our hours reflect this. Please get in touch before dropping in.
MON – SUNDAY: 9:00am – 11:00pm
Getting Here
We are a hop skip and a jump away! Located within one to three hours of several major city centres including:
Toronto (2.5-3.5hrs)
Ottawa (2-3hrs)
Peterborough (1.5-2hrs)
Belleville (2hrs)
Kingston (3hrs)
Currently there are no buses that come directly to Bancroft but there are ride shares, and you can take the Go Train & Bus to Peterborough.
The closest Airport is Ottawa, or Toronto both about 3 hrs drive.
Rules on the farm
We do ask that when you are coming to visit that you get in touch with us first to make sure we are here.
If you have any animals you are hoping to bring with you, they will need to be vetted as we have many farm animals to keep safe.
For the most part we have a pretty quiet space here. We ask that no loud music be played after 11pm to keep the peace.
Attractions
Bancroft is the closest town to us, it is about a 20min drive from the Farm. There are many shops grocery stores and supplies that can be found here. As well as a Performing Theatre, Eagles Nest Lookout point, museums and several great restaurants/pubs. Bancroft Info
Cunninghams Country Store is located on HWY 28, an 8 min drive from the Farm. They have Gas, LCBO Drinks & Snacks for sale. See for hours of operation: Country Store Info
Egan Cutes Provincial Park has some lovely hiking trails that are very accessible. Just off Hwy 28 on your way to Bancroft. ( be mindful of the bumpy road to drive into parking area if you have a low chassey on your vehicle. After a10 min hike in you will find the big water chutes, a beautiful scene of cascading water falls nestled among the great Canadian shield rock masses.
