Description
We will craft a series of meaningful objects that we can carry as tools of transformation in our lives and allow space for discussions and other relational exercises that invite us to consider the deer beyond the sum of their physical parts. Moving through this process with a flexible schedule and time to rest is an important part to this dynamic experience. These tools will co relate with conscious dying principles to aid us in our journey towards embracing death as a sacred time of transition, honouring life and relaxing into the mystery that encompasses it all. This deeply reflective process, combined with hands-on skill development, invites us to engage in a meaningful relationship with the Deer, each other, ourselves, and the natural world we are both within and a part of. You will also be able to continue your adventure with your new tools and skillset into the fulcrum weekend and use them in other workshops. 🙂
Let’s navigate and chart this course together!~
We will be providing the food for Dinner each day and we will collectively share the cooking space with everyone to have one meal together. Please bring some food for yourself and to contribute to other meals which we can cook together. More details of what you need to bring will become available upon registering for this course. Proceeds from this workshop will go towards supporting experimental initiatives involving local community groups and continuing to offer free programming in this area. If cost is a barrier, please reach out—we’re happy to work something out with you! 🙂 af.muse@gmail.com
This year, we’re excited to expand Skill Share into a week-long Gathering! Throughout the week, the land will be alive with creativity, as people practice their crafts, work on projects, and come together to prepare for the Fulcrum weekend. We invite you to join in, connect, and be part of this growing community!
We are forever grateful to be holding this space as we start to shift our values, honour the gifts we are given and question the nature of the world we are living in together as a group of individuals. Moving towards embracing collective mindsets, co creation and further developing a culture based on mutual support.
