WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: 2 Day (Sat, Sun 12hrs)

Come learn how to transform raw fleshy skin into soft, dry, golden suede. The fundamental concepts of the ancient method of preserving the skins of animals with natural materials, is often referred to as Brain Tanning.  This method can be used to appreciate the skins of many different beings, from Mouse to Bison. Come and experience the value of pushing edges reflected in the naturally tanned sheepskin you’ll be taking home.

Sebastian has been working to reconnect people with Themselves, Each other, and the Land through various gatherings, workshops and Outdoor/Forest Schools. 

Throughout the vast majority of human history, one of the most fundamental ways humans weave themselves into deeper relationship with Self, Other and Place has been through craft, creation, and tending to the things we need to flourish within the places we call home.
