Join us for a full day of blacksmithing! Learn basic and intermediate level forging techniques using a charcoal forge. Participants will be guided through the process of making a decorative/ functional creative project to take home. Techniques will involve drawing metal, scrolling and joinery. Come have some fun in the metal guild, play with fire and see what forms unfurl.

 

 

 

Facilitator Bio

Rok Capuder

Originally from Europe (Slovenia), Rok moved to Canada in 2016, bringing with him a long family tradition of craftsmanship. He specializes in traditional blacksmithing, modern metalworking techniques and timeless jewelry making. Metal’s unforgiving nature fuels Rok’s curiosity and its glow drives him to constantly innovate and perfect his craft.
