Moon Beam – Woman’s Gathering

September 30 @ 3:00 pm October 2 @ 5:00 pm

Come play with us on the land, sing to the stars & seek solice in sisterhood.

This weekend woman’s gathering is an invitation to join together, cultivate connection, share , learn and reflect on the cyclical nature of our moon bodies. How are we moved by the rhythms of the moon? How do we embody and embrace the sacredness of our sexuality as woman? By reclaiming our stories and exploring the depths of our oceans we will navigate our way towards empowerment. Together we will weather the mental storms, emotional waves, and spiritual seas to find mystical islands of sanctuary, shrouded in magic and stepped in the wisdom of our ancient ways. A collaboration of three seastars will guide us through our weekend journey together.

“We look to nature, empower ourselves and cultivate strength through the cycles of the moon. Remembering to integrate the masculine and feminine, we reclaim our mythical stories & archetypes. Seeing trauma with intention, we use somatic tools to release and create union. Harmonious balance calls us to cast our gifts into the world, to be seen intimately in our sexuality. We reconnect to our wisdom through ritual practice and magic. Relate to the flow state. “

Facilitator Bios & Workshop Descriptions

Brooke Fry is a nature-based educator, menstrual coach and certified moon mother living in Guelph, Ontario. She has been facilitating workshops, circles and retreats since 2016 with the intention of reconnecting women and folks with cyclic bodies back into the rhythmic wisdom of their bodies.

Workshop – Reconnecting to our Rhythms

Our own unique and personal experience of our menstrual cycle provides the blueprint to deepening our inner work, healing our relationships with ourselves and others, connecting to the wisdom of our ancestors and reclaiming our place in the family of all things. We are intimately connected to the grander cycles of nature and the cosmos through the embodiment of our own cycles. Our bodies are cause for celebration and the shedding of joyful tears- they are the very roadmap back to ourselves.

In this workshop, we will explore:

  • The menstrual cycle as a mirror of the cosmos
  • Myth and folklore offering us menstrual guidance
  • Optimizing the gifts of our body- re-structuring our schedules to reflect our cycle natures
  • Inner/outer tracking: how does the world ebb and flow alongside you?

Workshop – Sacred Sexuality & Yoni Casting:

Discovering the sacredness of your sexuality is a coming home to your inner Queen.  Reconnecting with your innate wisdom and magic, and harnessing your creative power, you remember the force of nature you are.

In this workshop, I cover the energetics of sacred sexuality, and explore the 9 different vulva anatomy types.  The more intimately you can understand your physical anatomy, the more comprehensively you can know who you are, as the soul you came here to be.  Your sexuality is your core nature.  Like an astrology reading of your yoni, discover your profile and what your vulva tells you about your personality, who you are as a partner, how you like to seek out a partner, how long it typically takes you to reach orgasm, and so much more.

This exploration will be followed by a yoni casting.  The opportunity to desexualize the vulva, to feel safely held and supported by sisters, to celebrate or mourn or grieve or laugh about the stories of our yonis together, we get to transform what has so often been held as taboo, sinful, shamed or hidden.  You will transform this hidden power source into a beautiful expression of art.

We will then rattle out whatever remnants of old beliefs/stories or trauma that you may have been blessed to see surface through movement and dance, as well as use your magnetic poles within your body to draw in the intentions and manifestation you now choose to create and believe into your auric field.

You are a unique fractal of the universe, here to express your own song.  Discover how sacred sexuality can support you to deepen that expression.

Water Walk & Ritual Remains:

When we settle into silence we are able to hear the call of our wild nature. It begs us to listen and take action. On a journey through the forest we will honor the land and celebrate the water with our presence, creating intentional space to connect with all living beings. Coming close to the earth with our bodies, we will co create an intuitively guided ritual practice. Our earth mother hears all our whispers and screams, she is there no matter what to support us.  As our hands touch the fertile earth we release what no longer serves us and are given new life energy in this process. Through these actions we enter into a space of divine love, gratitude, acceptance and appreciation for all aspects in the cycle of life & death where transmutation and transformation reside.

*This is a campout style retreat, please come prepared to be out on the land, there is lots of shelter space to gather inside onsite, and a barn kitchen where meals will be prepared by our friendly kitchen pixies.

List of things to bring and consider:

  • Tent, sleeping gear
  • Cool and warm cloths bathing suit, towel
  • Journal and writing or pen pencil
  • One object that is meaningful to you that you are ready to let go of
  • Water bottle

For the Yoni Casting on Sunday (which will be set up to honour your comfort, that’s the intention of this vulnerable practice—with the group or privately ), it is necessary to be waxed or have shortly trimmed hairs so that the molding material does not stick. As much as Meg so deeply desires for everyone to show up in complete expression of their natural Queen, this is purely a need for the casting to work out (without sticky situations). The point of this practice is to celebrate our diversity, which Meg wishes could encapsulate your Sacred Forest, but this is just how it is for this beautiful experience to work out. We can jump in the pond or the lake and have an outdoor cold shower under the apple tree after to refresh!”
